Description - Ultra Purge PET-E is a ready-to-use granular purging compound specifically formulated for the cleaning of screws, barrels, nozzles, and hot-runner systems in thermoplastic injection molding machines. It is particularly effective for color changeovers and removing contaminants from machinery processing polyolefins and other specified thermoplastic resins. This purging compound is free from abrasives and includes highly efficient cleaning additives. Ultra Purge PET-E is also suitable for cleaning in blow molding without accumulators and sheet extrusion applications.
Recommended For: Amorphous resins, Crystalline resins, PA, POM ,PET, Polyolefins, PS, TPE-TPR, High-temperature engineering resins, PVC, TPU, Transparent polyamides, CA, CAB, especially when switching to PMMA, Switching to PC from any resin
Temperature Range: Ultra Purge PET-E can be used at processing temperatures ranging from 190°C (374°F) to 320°C (608°F).
Usage Instructions:
For Injection Moulding :
- 1 full barrel for color changes and black specks removal with Injection molding machines
- ½ full barrel for shut-downs with Injection molding machines
For Extrusion :
- 1 – ½ full barrel for color changes and black specks removal with Extruders machines
- 1 full barrel for shut down with extruders
For Blow Moulding :
- 1 full barrel for color changes and black specks removal with Blow Molding machines.
- ½ full barrel for shut down with blow moulding.
